TalkJS operates from the Netherlands, which is in the European Union. If you’re a business operating from an EU member state, we have to charge you value added tax (VAT). However, if you're also a registered business, we can set the VAT rate at 0%. To this end you need to provide us with the VAT number of your business.
The internationalized format of your VAT number always starts with a two-letter country code followed by a custom number, which may contain letters and numbers. For example, a full Dutch VAT number has the format NL123456789B01, but may show up as 123456789B01 on some documents.
